Research directions in Alzheimer's disease

An examination of the direction of research of Alzheimer' disease

This paper examines some of the current research approaches in Alzheimer's disease. Although Alzheimer research is making progress in identifying the etiology of the disease, this paper suggests that some of the research funding could be more appropriately allocated for research into identifying the most beneficial types of palliative care for Alzheimer patients.
