Stress considered as an etiological factor in Alzheimer's diseaseBarry University, Florida, and Florida Atlantic University Stress has not been considered as an etiological factor in Alzheimer's disease. However, a synthesis of research data on both stress and A.D. suggests the validity of a role for stress itself as a significant causal factor or at least as a co-factor consistent with current research models for this disease.
